Our archives can be consulted by appointment, other times will be announced.

• Space in the reading room is limited so it is necessary to make an appointment. Bookings can be made by post, telephone or in person.
  
  
• Ordering records in advance is encouraged.
  
  
• All public areas, including toilets, are accessible to wheelchairs.
  
  
• The Archives Centre is about fifteen minutes walk from the railway and bus stations.
  
  
• There are no refreshment facilities on-site but cafes and pubs are within five minutes walk.
